Pompadour Événement, an audiovisual technical provider based in Courbevoie, handles the technical side of children's Christmas parties and year-end celebrations for works councils (CSE) in Paris and Île-de-France: sound for the show and the host, ambient lighting, a screen for videos and music for the children's disco. On request, we also organise the whole event.

How we approach this type of event
A children's Christmas party follows a few key moments: families arrive, a show, Father Christmas makes his entrance, presents are handed out, a snack, and often a disco. The audience mixes children of all ages with their parents, and the room is rarely a theatre: a canteen, a multipurpose hall, a company lobby or a venue hired for the day.
We install a setup that is simple to run and designed with children in mind: cables protected on the floor, speakers out of reach, sound levels suited to the youngest. For the staff year-end party, we follow the logic of a corporate party: words from management or the works council, dinner, then dancing.
What we install
- Sound for the show (magic, storytelling, musical) and wireless mics for the host
- Welcome and background music, a Christmas playlist or a DJ for the disco
- Ambient lighting, lighting of the stage, the Christmas tree and the photo corner with Father Christmas
- Screen or projection for a cartoon, a slideshow or messages from the works council
- Mic for words from management and council members during the presents
- Technician on site from setup to breakdown
What to prepare
- Set the date early: December is the busiest period of the year, especially Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Tell us the number of children, their age groups and the number of adults expected.
- If you have already booked a show, send us its technical rider.
- Check with the venue the loading access, available power sockets and the time the room must be cleared.
A single point of contact if you wish
Works council members rarely have time to coordinate five suppliers. We can organise the whole Christmas party and coordinate the other suppliers, or simply handle the technical side for the organiser you have chosen.

How much does the technical setup for a works council Christmas party cost?

Do you work in rooms with no equipment, such as a canteen or a lobby?
Yes. We bring the sound, lighting and video equipment, and we check power supply, access and setup times with the venue.
Can you handle the children's party and the staff party on the same day?
Yes. We adapt the setup between the children's afternoon and the adults' evening, or plan two configurations if the venues are different.
Do you also organise the event?
Yes, on request. We can organise the whole Christmas party together with the works council members, or handle the technical side only.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as possible: December is the busiest period of the year. Give us your date and we will tell you whether we are available.
